Your Future in the Akashic Records

“Does the Akashic Records tell the future, too?” This is one of the most common questions about the Akashic Records. Gee, don’t we want to know about our future? Our destiny? If there is a destiny? And then, some of us hate to think we have a destiny.

Well, the Akashic Records do have the part about the future. All the possibilities already exist there. However, the future doesn’t exist in the way most people tend to think it does.

Those who want to know about their future ask questions like, “Will I meet my life partner / soulmate? If so, when and where will I meet him?” They expect answers like, “You will meet him at your friend’s birthday party next March.”

The future doesn’t exist this way.

Destiny points in the Akashic Records
Life is like a computer simulation game. Depending on your thoughts and the actions you take based on your thoughts, the scenes of the game change continuously. What is possible and impossible in the game is already determined, however. There are gazilions of possibilities, which feel like endless to us, but all the possible scenes of the game are already built in the game when it was developed.

The critical difference is that, with the real life game, you designed it yourself. Prior to birth, you, as a soul, made the plan of your life. At this point, you determined several points that you don’t want to miss — let’s call this your “destiny points” — and also other events that you might choose to experience if the circumstances seem favorable for it.

Each person has different types of destiny points. For some, marriage is one of the destiny points. For others, marriage is optional, but having a certain number of children is a destiny point. For yet others, their destiny points may be about living in a certain city or doing a certain work.

The length of life is also a destiny point . . . but I guess we don’t want to discuss this.

The number of destiny points are rather few. In other words, life is built to be quite flexible. Again, it depends on each person, but usually we have five to six destiny points that we absolutely are up to.

Further, even with destiny points, the timing, the location, and other details are flexible. For example, even when a person has the destiny to have one child, when and with whom she may have the child is not determined.

And for all other things in life, it’s all up to your free will.

Problems of learning about the future
So, to the question “Will I meet my life partner?”, there can be two answers in the Akashic Records:

  • “Yes. You decide who that will be.”
  • “We don’t know. It’s up to your free will and actions.”

Now we know neither is the kind of answer the questioner is expecting.

The fundamental problem of this type of question is that the questioner thinks the future exists unrelated to their will, that they think someone else (maybe God?) dictates the future and they just have to follow it. This is a very disempowered mindset. (I call it victim mentality and slave mentality.)

Until you empower yourself to create your life, the information about your future in the Akashic Records bring no benefit to you, even the knowledge about your destiny points. This is why I don’t discuss the future in the first profile reading of my Akashic Record Reading. It’s more essential to find out why you are in that disempowered state, if there are any energetic blocks and interferences, and if so, how we can clear them.

When you really understand the power of your free will, you would have very few questions about your future. Ironically, that is when you can utilize the information about your future.

In the next article, I want to write about the near future. In life, as in the computer simulation game, the further the future point is, the more free will are involved, and the harder it is to make a solid prediction. However, with near future, I sometimes receive information about my clients when I do the follow up readings or Spirit Guides Coaching.

Sometimes I share it with the client, and sometimes I don’t. . .

Akashic Record Reading for Family and Friends

Locating the Akashic Records
First, my apology. I skipped one posting. I was going to write why I request the full name, full name at birth (if different from the current full name), date of birth, and place of birth for my Akashic Record Reading.

I need some kind of personal information to locate your Akashic Records accurately. Most of the time, just the name would do, but just in case, I ask for the date of birth and place of birth, too. So, if for some reason you are not sure of your accurate date or place of birth, no worry.

This blog is tied to my Japanese blog. As an experiment, I am posting the same content in two languages. The issue of personal info is important in Japan because there are so many types of “fortune telling” methodologies there and many of them use the personal info itself, such as the number of brush strokes in a name. I wanted to explain how my reading is different — that, in my method, the personal info is used to locate the Akashic Records.

In other words, as long as I can locate a specific person, I don’t even need the full name. For example, if you are already my client, “your ex David” is sufficient to locate his Akashic Records.

After writing the Japanese article, I noticed this issue is not as critical for English speaking audience, so I skipped . . . but if you have any questions about this, please let me know.

Summary of how to access the Akashic Records
Let me summarize what we have discussed regarding the access to the Akashic Records:

  • You can access your own Records freely because they are yours to begin with. All it takes is to ask your spirit guides. (I will write how to communicate with your spirit guides in later articles.)
  • To have your Akashic Records read by a reader means you are asking the reader to represent yourself in the Hall of Akashic Records.
  • In order to read the Akashic Records of other people, the reader must have that person’s permission, clear consciousness void of prejudice, willingness to respect the responsibilities as a reader, and the technique to tune in to the Records.
  • The Akashic Records are protected by special spirit guides (Akashic Record guides).
  • In order to locate the specific Akashic Records, some personal information is necessary.

Is it okay to request readings for family and friends?
When you have your own reading and know how effective it is, it’s natural to want the same benefits for your loved ones. And sometimes, you may wonder, “Well, I think this is helpful, but he / she may be suspicious of this kind of thing. What do I do?”

I would first suggest bringing it up to that person. They may be more open-minded than you think. Besides, seeing how happy you are with the reading is convincing even to a suspicious mind.

If they agree with having their Akashic Record Reading, that would be wonderful. However, their approval is not required if you want to know them on the soul level.

We are allowed to know the people in our lives on the soul level. (And probably we really should know them on the soul level.) So, even without their explicit consent, we can do the reading. (Please note you assume all responsibilities for releasing their personal information.)

Do you remember the housekeeper analogy I used before? A housekeeper (the Akashic Record Reader) should not enter your house without permission even with good intention.

However, you would enter your family and close friends’ house without their explicit permission, right? In some cases, you might even do the cleaning for them. So you are allowed to know their Akashic Records.

What kind of relationship is okay to order a reading?
Anyone who has or has had a significant influence on you. It’s hard to draw a generic line, but usually it’s okay to order a reading for these people with our without their permission:

  • Your parents, siblings, children, and spouse. Grandparents and grandchildren are fine, too. (These include biological, adopted, and in-law relationships.)
  • Your present and past romantic partners.
  • Your close friends and business colleagues.
  • Others: for example, if you are a business owner, you might want to know your co-owners, critical employees and investors. If your child spends a long time with a caregiver, that’s critical, too. You get the idea.

What would it be like to know someone on the soul level?
You may feel a bit nervous ordering a reading for someone you think you know well. Who is that person on the soul level? How would you feel if a reading reveals a surprising aspect of them?

I can tell from my experience that, most of the time, the reading clarifies the things you know on the deep level but could not acknowledge consciously. For instance, when a client orders a reading for her boyfriend, well, I know I need to stay neutral and open to any results, but there is also a part of me who wishes that the reading turns out “good” that confirms he is a wonderful person.

So when I find out he is the type of a soul that sucks up energy from the people around him, I wonder how to disclose the news on the phone. But in such a case, the client usually responds like, “Oh, that makes so much sense. He is always nice, has a great job, I know my parents and friends would be excited if I marry him, but I just couldn’t bring myself to take that step…” The reading serves as a validation of what she has been feeling.

Or, the reading can show how to handle different perspectives and emotional charges that happen even in a truly loving relationship. (If you are mainly interested in the “relationship” you have with someone, you might want to consider the Relationship Reading rather than the full Akashic Record Reading for that person.)

So, as long as you are not ordering the reading out of sheer curiosity, Akashic Record Reading for your family and friends can be very helpful. Please note it’s essential you have your reading first — it’s not a good attitude to dig another person’s Records before you reflect on yourself.

Next article will be about the “future” part in the Akashic Records. This directly relates to the important question we humans have been asking ourselves through the history: “Is there a pre-determined destiny? Or can we create our own destiny? Of maybe the combination of both? If it’s the combination, which parts are changeable and which parts are not? Is that pre-determined?”

The Condition of Accessing the Akashic Records

“The sleeping prophet” Edgar Cayce did his Akashic Record reading while in a hypnotic trance. Someone else (a hypnotist in the beginning, later his wife and son learned how to do it) led him in hypnosis and asked questions to him. Interestingly, Cayce himself didn’t remember what he had said in the hypnosis sessions. His readings were recorded by his assistant with shorthand.

Maybe because Cayce is one of the most famous Akashic Record Reader, I occasionally receive questions such as, “Do we need to be in hypnotic trance to access the Akashic Records?”, “Are you hypnotized when you do the Akashic Record Reading?” Some also asked if I access the Akashic Records by astral projection.

I guess there are various ways to access the Akashic Records. In my case, I don’t do it in astral projection. I don’t do it in the dreams, either, in my sleep. I access the Akashic Records by myself, without the assistance of hypnotist. Regarding the hypnotic trance or hypnotic condition, there is one thing we want to define clearly . . .

What is “hypnotic state”?
According to Dr Brian Weiss, the authority in hypnotherapy, the hypnotic state is not the unusual so-called “trance” state that many people think it is. He maintains that we often get into this hypnotic state in our normal daily life, as often as several times a day, quite naturally. It’s the relaxed state between sleep and full-activity awake-ness. It’s when you get the wonderful intuitive hits or notice great solutions that you ignored when your mind was so busy.

If we define hypnotic state this way, I guess I am utilizing it when I access the Akashic Records. However, I do know and remember everything I gather there. If I get a phone call while I am doing the reading, I can answer it with no problem and you wouldn’t notice it. (I don’t particularly like such interruptions, however.)

Our apprehension with spirituality
I think the idea of “You must be in special condition to access the Akashic Records” is just another variation of “You must be a special sage to read the Akashic Records”. It’s an attempt to stay away and ignore what you don’t understand at this time — you label it as something unrelated to yourself and put it away from your daily consciousness.

Is it so scary to admit we are spiritual beings?

Is it so scary to acknowledge that, beyond the physical part of ourselves that meet the eye, there are spiritual aspect to us that do not meet the physical eye? And, as spiritual beings, we may have abilities that you could not even imagine before? And that this may be true not just to some people but to all of us?

Well, I understand and feel for you. But this is the 21st century already. Let’s leave the dark ages of spirituality behind us.

In the next article, I will explain why I request the name, date of birth, and place of birth in my Akashic Record Reading. These information are used to locate a specific set of the Akashic Records. As long as I can specify the Records, I don’t need all the info really. Edgar Cayce, by the way, accessed the Akashic Records by the client’s name and location.

Akashic Record Guides

The last article was about the qualifications to access the Akashic Records, that you don’t need to be a yogi or a sage but there are certain requirements. There are rules Akashic Record Readers want to follow for their own good as well as for their clients.

But what happens if someone who don’t intend to follow these rules get to learn the access method? Is there a safe guarding system for the Akashic Records?

Well, yes. In the Library of the Akashic Records, there are librarians. They are the special spirit guides — the Akashic Record Guides. All the activities in the Library are done through these Akashic Records Guides. I don’t run around in the Library looking for relevant information. I ask the Akashic Record Guides to bring me the information.

As I’ve been writing, the amount of information in the Akashic Records is huge. I don’t think we can get anything done without the assistance of the Akashic Record Guides.

When I access the Akashic Records, the first thing I do is to state my intention, that I am here representing my client and I don’t intend to do anything that is not in their highest path and purpose.

You don’t get any information until you pass this entry check point. I also heard that the Akashic Record Guides would provide false information to send away unauthorized intruders.

The intelligence of energy
“You said the Akashic Records exist in an energetic field called the Akashic field and we are using the traditional terms such as the Library of the Akashic Records just to make it easier to understand. How can a mere energy (field) tell the intention of a person and control their access?”

This is an excellent question you may have. The confusion comes from viewing energy as “waves”, as movement alone.

Energies are not just movements. Energies have intelligence. There are no brains but there is something that we have to call intelligence. Quantum physics is finding this out with various experiments.

To understand this intuitively, you might want to see the photos of the water crystals Masaru Emoto took in books such as “The True Power of Water”. The photos are also used in the movie “What The Bleep Do We Know?”

Water, which you may think as mere substance without intelligence, changes forms with the energy of words. Matter (energy that has takes physical forms) actually has intelligence and responds to the energy of words.

Protection system of the Akashic Records
So, to the best of my knowledge, it is unlikely that someone access your Akashic Records when you don’t know about it. It is very unlikely they find out your secrets or abuse the information or change your Akashic Records against your own will. The Akashic Records are protected by the Akashic Record Guides (certain forms of energy bodies).

I do suggest, however, to choose your Akashic Record Reader carefully. Accessing the Akashic Records, by yourself or through a processional reader, is something to be taken seriously.

Next, I will explain how I access the Akashic Records. Occasionally I receive email questions such as “Can you do astral projection?” and “Is this related to hypnotherapy like past life regression?”, so I’d like to address these questions.

How to Access the Akashic Records

I’ve been reading “Same Soul, Many Bodies: Discover the Healing Power of Future Lives through Progression Therapy” by Dr Brian Weiss. I was pleasantly surprised to see him mention “the Akashic Records” in this book! The knowledge of the Akashic Records is gaining public recognition :)

Dr Brian Weiss is the psychiatrist who pioneered past life regression therapy. His first book “Many Lives, Many Masters” is an excellent read for those of you who want to know more about reincarnation or those of you who are suspicious about it. (The link takes you to the book review I did on Real Life Spirituality blog.)

While more and more people are learning about the Akashic Records, however, I am afraid there are some misunderstandings. The biggest one is the myth that it takes a super sage to read them. Well, I am no such thing, but I can do my work just fine . . . Thank you.

So I’d like to write a series of articles about how to access the Akashic Records. It’s not a one-on-one coaching but only a few articles to be read, so there are some limitations, but I will do my best explaining this.

Today it’s about the difference between reading your own Akashic Records and reading someone else’s Akashic Records.

Reading your own Akashic Records
It’s easy to read your own Akashic Records. It’s yours, so you own it. I think we are all supposed to know about our own Akashic Records so that we can navigate life with the wisdom. However, many of us have forgotten how to. So you can either practice reading them yourself — or you can find a proficient Akashic Record Reader.

The process is simple because you don’t need to access the Hall of Akashic Records. To know about your own Akashic Records, all it takes is to ask your spirit guides. Your spirit guides know everything about you, including your Akashic Records.

I will be writing about how to communicate with spirit guides later. Many of us already do this without thinking about it, but knowing a reliable method to communicate with your spirit guides comes very handy in our daily life.

Reading other people’s Akashic Records
In order to read someone else’s Akashic Records, you need to access the Hall of Akashic Records. The Hall of Akashic Records (also called the Library of Akashic Records) is not a physical building but an energetic database in this universe. You can access it from anywhere, anytime, but it takes a bit of . . . technique.

Okay, so what is that technique, you ask. Well, it’s not too complicated, but it takes caution to teach it. I’d rather not teach it over the internet to someone I don’t know. Reading the Akashic Records is a work that takes high level of responsibility and integrity.

Akashic Record Readers are like housekeepers. It’s possible to gather very personal information there, so the Reader shouldn’t be someone who would “open the drawer” out of mere curiosity.

Needless to say, the reader should not do the reading without the person’s permission. It’s like entering someone’s house without permission. If you come home one day and find out someone was inside, you wouldn’t like it, would you? Even if the person were a professional housekeeper and did the cleaning of your place, you would like it only when you ask her to do the work.

Also, someone who does too much work is no good even if they do it out of “good intention”. With the same analogy, this is like a housekeeper who cleans up the are she is not supposed to work on. An Akashic Record Reader needs to know exactly what they are doing, including their responsibility.

“But what happens if someone inappropriate learns how to access and read the Akashic Records? Can something like a computer virus attack happen, with someone accessing my Akashic Records when I am not aware?”

Next article answers this concern, so please stay tuned.
